Pattern Review: New Look 6699

But first, the Autumn o8 pattern from New Look are up (they are okay) This one is too much, now you know that thing is wayyyyy to short!!!! come on now LOL!

Alright here is my pattern review, all summer I have wanted a white summer dress so I finally made one.

Pattern: New Look 6699

Fabric: White Swiss Dot Cotton

Modifications: None, This pattern comes with so many options for the bodice, midriff and skirt that you can make up almost anything.

Size: I cut a size 8 for the bodice and a size 10 for the skirt at the waist and graded to a size 12.
Conclusion: This is a really good pattern, easy to follow, many options and it fit right out of the envelope which I always appreciate.

  3. One more question... how do you get your fit so great? Everything you make fits like a glove, and I'm wondering if you muslin everything or just know all your measurements, and modify the paper pattern first? I'm in awe...
