PR: M6083 View D & E



Pattern Description: M6083 Jumpsuits A, B, C, D, E have side front pockets, elastic casings and stitched hem; jumpsuit B has shoulder straps; jumpsuit C has sash; jumpsuits D, E have bodice with gathered shoulders, narrow hemmed armholes; jumpsuits A, D are thigh length; jumpsuit B above ankle length; jumpsuits C, E are floor length; optional purchased belt.

Pattern Sizing: I cut size 4

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes i think they do

Were the instructions easy to follow? I didnt use them because it was pretty self explanatory by looking at the line drawing

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? Love this jumpsuit, it is very comfy and I love the short version too.

Fabric Used: The eggplant one is ponte de roma and the green is a lightweight jersey

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added length to the torso

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I may not sew this one again but may do view A and B

Conclusion: love this and its easy to dress up or down.















PR: S2406 CR Dress





Pattern Description: S2406 Misses' dress in three lengths with sleeve variations by Cynthia Rowley

Pattern Sizing: I Cut a size 6

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes

Were the instructions easy to follow? They are pretty easy

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the sleeves and I love the open back.

Fabric Used: This is my wearable muslin, I wanted to try it in a knit before i cut my linen out. I like it so much I may make another knit one too...lol

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes

Conclusion: I love this little number.

PR: V1151














Pattern Description: V1151 Tapered, close-fitting dress, above mid-knee has slightly raised waist, princess seams, cut-a-way armholes, two-piece bias, turned back collar and exposed back zipper.



Pattern Sizing: I cut a size 6

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? yes, i think so

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes they were pretty straight forward

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love this dress, its very cute and i can rock it with flats and with heels.

Fabric Used: Lightweight DK

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added length to the bodice which was easy but even though there are no lengthen here lines. I worked it out cuz I have a long torso.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I may sew it in a spring color.

Conclusion: Love this one.

Up Next....




I love this CR dress, I have it on my cutting table ready to get started. I hope to have it finished in a few days if I can manage to find the time to sew....geez!! it seems like everything else is taking over :( which means I have no time for sewing and that makes mimi grumpy..lol

I am making View A and I think i may use a knit, not sure. come back and see what I come up with for this little number.
