I'm fairly new to sewing and I actually just bought a SERGER (yay me :) I would love a tutorial on tips when using a serger - so I can get more comfortable with it. Things like what to do when you're serging a project and get to a corner!! I don't know if you would be interested in that but I would LOVE IT! Anyway thanks for your blog - it's very inspiring :)

Trying to find one in my budget (I'm starting a PhD program in the Fall, and money will be type funny). Any suggestions on first time machines?

Why, Mimi, Why??? I have to study, snuck on here for a dose of inspiration, and saw this jumper. You are amazing. I can't wait to be done with this darned exam so I can buy this download (both of them!) and start sewing. The skirt with sash tutorial hooked me with the idea of getting a serger. I finally found a goodwill auction online for an Elna serger. I can't wait to begin using it and would greatly appreciate if you did a serger tutorial. Thank you so much for all the amazing advice, inspiration (clothing and exercise. your waist is amazing), and fabulous tutorials.

I'm trying to get a copy of the dressform tutorial you offered while back seems I can only find clippings, looking for full tutorial.
