    ReplyDelete
  32. Hmmm. How simple was this to make? I've always sewn (from my own school uniform at the age of 9) but zippers and button holes have always scared the bejezuz out of me. Thanks to your tutorial (the full maxi) I am good on the zippers but not the button holes (hint hint - button hole specific tutorial please) still gives me the hebejebees. I love the dress. so maybe after my other projects (just finished the pencil skirt and moving on to a snake skin print capri) I will muster up the gumption to make this one.

Thanks for ALL the tutorials, blog, etc etc. You gats (yes gats) me right back in my comfort zone...behind that sewing machine!

Thanks to your review on this dress and your other diys...My frustrations are gone and my comfort in sewing has sprung back to life. My daugthers are wanting me to wear more dress, even though, they don't like them.../-)Funny I know...They are fans of your blog and youtube videos and now have taken an interest in sewing their own things.
