DIY Teal Draped Neck Dress

Hi Darlings!

I am running behind this afternoon ugh! Christmas time is always a mad rush for me lol so I am leaving you with pics and links and well wishes.

The dress is an oldie but goodie and super easy to do so I won't review it again since I made this pattern (V1250) before and reviewed it HERE. The coat is also an DIY oldie (V1263) that made and reviewed HERE. The fabric is an amazing teal knit I got HERE it has a subtle sheen and amazing softness. THIS, THIS & THIS all work well for this dress too. The shoes are Steve Madden found HERE (on sale) and the necklaces are an assortment from Charming Charlie.

  9. As Ron Burgundy would say, "keep it classy Mimi" and that you did indeed!! I love it, love it, LOVE IT!! That coat in white really sets it off!! I can definately see it made of a faux fur to go with a slinky evening gown.(with the right "under pinning" of course--LOL) You just gotta love those oldies. They always come through for you. GREAT JOB LADY!!

  10. Beautiful dress. That coat gets better looking with each outfit you post it with. Keep up the good work Mimi. P.S. I've told you in other postings that I am an older woman with a bit of sewing experience, and I know one is never to old or experienced that something new can't be learned. I really appreciate and like your tutorials. Thanks for being willing to do the tutorials.
