DIY Maxi Dress Tutorial!

Hi Darlings!

Happy Monday. I sent the weekend filming and trying to catch up on the little things that seem to get put aside during the week like painting my nails, shaving my legs and hanging up the pile of clothes that somehow ended up on my closet room floor lol.

Todays TUTORIAL is brought to you by Michael Levine Fabrics as part of our collaboration so hurry now to their BLOG to view the FREE tutorial. I see this dress being a summer staple for me in every color! I also listed suggested fabrics on the post so make sure to read through the post and use my coupon code MIMI10 if you purchase fabric.

  2. Very nice, Mimi. Just wondering though since Spring is here, will you be designing any dresses for the season, perhaps a mini dress with spaghetti strings?

  7. Hi Mimi! Thanks for the tutorial! Will you make something with cotton fabric. Most of your tutorials are made with knits. And knits seems to show my folds. Wanted to buy a tutorial but saw that it's mostly knits and cotton fabrics don't stretch. Love your blog! Keep on rocking

  12. Love this dress!! I am currently about 7 months pregnant but I will be making this to wear after I have my baby!! I do have one quick question though, did you use a lining and if so what are your suggestions? I am still new to sewing and I have made a couple of maxi skirts that are a little see through. Thanks !!

  13. For the short version, do you still add the six inches to the skirt bottom or should that be changed to 3" or so if going about knee length?
