On a personal note, as someone who has been sewing for more than 50 years, thank you for showing people sewing can be chic and fun and it's not just for people who can't buy off the rack or little old ladies. Your encouragment is priceless and if just one person starts sewing and they help one person start, well...look what happens! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

ReplyDeleteI love your style period!!! I'm not able to enter contest because i don't have any social accounts except Instagram but good luck to those who are and Mrs. Mimi thank you for blessing us with tutorials!
ReplyDeleteFirst, you look like my younger sister in your middle picture. So cute. Second, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fabric. The fabric jumped out at me from the Youtube screen and I NEEDED to know what you had recently sewn. You are such a great online sewing teacher. I took a sewing class in high school which was aeons ago and my daughter took sewing in high school last year and did beautifully. My mother and mother in law were seamstresses, but not so much anymore. I'm the black sheep in the family. Because of you and your VLOG I now own a sewing machine. The dress shape looks like it flatters most body shapes and so I'd like to try this one out cuz I need all the help I can get. :D Wonderful Ms. Mimi G. Wonderful.
