DIY Floral Print Dress + Zara Blazer


I am so excited because today is 4 WEEKS of NOT SMOKING!!!!! YAY ME!

I am also happy to have a break tomorrow from work and get some more sewing done. I have no plans for the 4th because I work the next day and don't want to exhaust myself. I also have a jumper tutorial in the making and want to get it done. On another note the hubby and I started the INSANITY work out and OMG! it is INSANE for real!

Today I pulled out a dress I made a few years ago and only wore once; it is Vogue 8184 and paired it with my Zara white blazer because it gets really cold in my office.

      You can! I said that same phrase once "I wish I could sew" now look at me, LOL and so many of my blog fans! many have never sewn a thing before coming to my blog and now they are kicking ass! you can do it baby!

      @Angela you can love listen to MiMi I said the samething. Watch one of MiMi's simple tutorials they are easy and even someone who has never sewn before can sew with her instructions. She really inspired me and encouraged me to not give up and even though Im currently take sewing classes and I am going to fashion Design school in the fall I still use her tutorials good luck luv you can do it!!!!

    I've been doing Insanity for 3 months now and still have not gotten to level two, too scared. lolol Insanity is the truth! You will definitely see your body change. I love the fabric used for this dress. So pretty.

      I love it so far but I am use to working out 5-7 days a week so its a not a complete shock to my body but damn it is HARD!

    Summer perfection! The dress is gorgeous (love the color and print), and the blazer makes it office chic. This is a great look to transition from work to play by removing the blazer.

    Hi Mimi. First OMG congrats on not smoking and also on not knocking someone out the first few days of not smoking lol. I've totally been there.
    Second, holy crap I love this look! The dress, the print, the color, the blazer and accessories. You look hot!
    And last, I've been watching your posts on the meet-up, what a fun event that must have been. Now I wish I would've gone!! Anyway, looks like it was a success!

    Omg!!!!! That is something to b overjoy about,my hubby said,its a hard thing to do.....however,love blazer with the dress it really jazz up the look...mimi u are so classy and wear everthing so well...aand the haircut puts the icing on the cake...u go girly

    Thought I had posted this. Anyway congrats on the 4 weeks non smoking. Absolutely fantastic, am trying to diet my fat a*se and can't even stay away from a cake for two days lol. Secondly, the first thing I thought was Aw you look so grown up lol.
