  1. So interesting to hear about you homeschooling - I have a 4 yr old and 2 yr old and it's always in the back of my mind but I'm also very intimidated by it. Seems that maybe there are many options and more research needs to be done on my part. On a sewing note....I can't wait for the new tutorial I absolutely love your tshirt maxi!

  3. Pattern line? Hooray! We're looking into homeschooling Raven in few years since they've come up with this statewide transitional Kindergarten idea which essentially adds another year of school even though theoretically they will be teaching the same material as regular Kindergrarten so you see my issue. Total.waste.of.time. So, if you can, keep us posted on how things are going with your little guy. I've been thinking a lot about you and the design thing for some reason and I think the pattern line might be the way for you to have it all. I can't wait!

  5. I'm so glad to hear your experience with homeschooling. I homeschooled my kids off and on - the older ones in the early grades, and then the baby in 7-8th grades. She wanted to go to high school to have that "high school" experience, which has been great for choir, prom, friends, etc. It makes life SO flexible -
A pattern line? Woo-hoo! Can't wait for that!

  6. Nice post. I have a 7th grader in Florida Virtual School. We love it! It's very flexible and easy for her to work at different times of the day. We like to take vacations off season and this allows us the flexibility to do what we want.

  7. I am so excited to hear that you are in the K12 program. I homeschool my son as well in the the ARKANSAS K12 (ARVA - Arkansas Virtual Academy). I LOVE it! This is our second year in ARVA - my son is in 1st grade and he loves it! I love your blog. It is so inspiring!
