DIY Turtle Neck Sweater + Pattern Review B5679 View A

Happy Friday!!! Yesterday was warm and sunny and today it is cold and scheduled to rain later this afternoon; Cali weather is crazy! I hope you guys have a great weekend and so today I leave you with a simple DIY pattern, "Get The Look" links and some more fabric resources ;-)

B5679 View A: Super easy pattern and GREAT for beginners. I placed my Front piece on the fold so I wouldn't disturb the print. The sleeves are raglan so if you have never tried sleeves before this would be a great start for you, raglan sleeves are super easy!!

  2. Hi Mimi,

Love the OOTD. F21 does have nice jeans. Your jeans fit you like a glove. Do you alter your jeans at all? It is so hard for me to find the perfect pair of jeans. Love the beret, I brought yarn to knit one. With X-mas fastly approaching, I've been knitting things for others and forgot about myself.

  8. Great look, Mimi. This pattern wouldn't have grabbed my attention, but I do really like raglan sleeves. I am interested in View D's neckline.

  12. I look forward to your posts everyday! You always look adorable. This look is one even I might be able to copy. I'm 57, so sometimes your chic outfits are too young for me. Was wondering if you have any suggestions of a fashion blog I might follow that is for a more mature woman? I'll still follow you no matter what cause I love to see what you're doing everyday.

  13. Hi Mimi,
I hope you had a good weekend. This is just an FYI.

I made skirt V8711, view D awhile ago and hung it in my closet and forgot about it. I remembered you made it as well. We made the same color. Well, I wore it today, and I LOVE IT. LOL!!! I don't know why I let it hang in my closet and I didn't wear it. Now, I want to make the shorter version of it. I think it's a sexy skirt.

    1. My Program Manager (a man) told me I looked nice today. I'm wearing a fuscha top with it. When I told him I made the skirt, he had a surprised look on his face. LOL!!!
