Hi Darlings!
I am feeling well enough to get dressed and leave the house, lol! The hubby is not well yet ;-( but our son is doing much better. Today's OOTD is an oldie but goodie that I made almost two years ago. The pattern, which was V1020, is no longer available but you may have some luck getting one on Etsy or ebay.
If you want to get the same look you can always use V1314 which is very similar except that it has long sleeves and gathers on both sides. I made it using a really heavy double knit that snaps on the body like nobody's business! Similar fabric can be found HERE or HERE use your code dolls! "MIMI10"
#DIY Grey Dress / Steve Madden Booties HERE (I am so smitten with these, they are SO comfy!)

ReplyDeleteYou could learn ;-)
DeleteYou are always on point! I have never seen you in anything I didn't like! You set the standard for style! Fads come and they go, but style lasts forever!
ReplyDeleteOne quick question Mimi. What type of lining do you use for your knits. This dress is really Killing.
ReplyDeleteI didn't line this one but usually I just use another light weight knit to line my knits ;-)
DeleteDang ur booty is outta this world!! x

ReplyDeleteGlad I already got the V1314 pattern! So excited plan on ordering some material tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteOk ordered my material for this dress. Mimi, with me just looking thru your OOTD/DIY I didn't see any for a sweater knit fabric, but I purchased a sweater knit that I thought is cute, can you give a suggestion.
Deletewhat type of stitch do you use for your knits? My hem keeps popping when I try that peg method that you describe in one of your videos
ReplyDeleteThis outfit really rock. This is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteSimply Gorgeous! Glad you are feeling better.

ReplyDeleteYou look damn good in that dress. I cant wait until I get my sewing machine fixed.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing! i also have v1314 and will have to make one like this.
ReplyDeleteFabulous..Love the colour!
ReplyDeleteFab as usual.
ReplyDeleteYour body is amazing and looks great in everything you wear! Once I get more familiar with my sewing machine I will be definitely buying your classes/tutorials.
ReplyDeleteHey sweety, did you put in a zipper or isn't that necessary if the fabric has enough stretch? V1020 says I should use a zipper but I don't see it in your picture.
ReplyDeleteThanx, all the way from Holland, Europe...
Janet
How did you gather your dress?
