My Seize The Day In Skimmies® Challenge!

Last week I shared a link to visit the Jockey Facebook page and join the Seize the Day in Skimmies® challenge  for a chance to win $5000 towards an adventure of a lifetime, a style consultation from Rachel Zoe Studio, $1,000 shopping spree and other cool prizes. Since I asked you to do a challenge, I felt I needed to do one too.

My Jockey Challenge was posted on June 5th on the Jockey Facebook page. The challenge was to boldly wear sequins, feathers or faux fur to somewhere ordinary.

Well, I figured since I personally would wear (and have worn) sequins to do groceries I needed to find somewhere that I normally would not think to wear sequins, lol! So, what could be more ordinary than lounging around the house, right? Since I try to take at leaf 30 minutes to sit and read email, a few pages of my devotional or even just make a few personal calls I put on my sequin blazer and went out to the patio. Funny thing is, I felt better sitting out there in something pretty and that sparkled! I also wore my short pair of Skimmies® under my shorts for added coverage.
Q&A I got a few questions last time, I posted about my Jockey Skimmies® so here are a few of those answers. 1. They are not shapers, but they certainly smooth things out. 2. They are comfy and NOT at all restricting 3. They did not roll up my thigh, and they were not visible over my clothes. Skimmies® are that must have item that helps you expand your wardrobe options and your fashion comfort zone.

    As soon as I saw your blog, I immediately went to the jockey website.to cheek then out. Then I walked in n Macys last week and the first thing I saw was the skimmies.. I like them.

    I bought 2 pair a few months ago for full & comfortable coverage without feeling all restricted. They aren't girdles but they really do smooth it all out. I love mine. I have black and burgundy. TMI. LOL

    I got two pair of the "short" skimmes and I loooooooove them! I also got an extra 40% off at the Jockey outlet store for buying more then one pair!!! Great Great Great!!! I will definately buy more! Got one on now! LOL!

    I have not tried them yet. They really look comfortable. I just wonder whether I shouldn't wait until fall. It’s hot out here, the idea of wearing "bloomers" under my clothes isn’t the most appealing. Do they make you hot and sweaty? or do you keep cool?

    After reading about Skimmies on your blog I looked for them the next time I was out! They are the most comfortable undergarments I have ever worn! They are great under my clinging summer maxi dresses! They smooth you out but don't squish you! The legs stay put, no rolling! They breathe well also and don't make you sweat! I bought three pairs of the longer ones now I am going to buy a few pairs of the shorter ones also! Thank you so much for sharing them with us! :)
