Hi Darlings!
I am traveling over the next few days so I have gotten a bit ahead of myself and prepared my posts for today and tomorrow. While packing I pulled out a few things that I haven't worn in a while (like the floral dress from Tuesday) it is always "finding" things in my closet.
This is a really easy dress to make using Vogue 8898. I wore and posted it last year HERE; The best thing about this dress is that you can wear it belted or not (both views shown below) I am off to start my day so I will chat with you guys tomorrow......xoxo
Sooo Beautiful.. I'm inspired to try something new and start to sew.. so nervous that I'll mess up.. any advise for a newbie..
ReplyDeleteMistakes are ok! Just keep moving forward. It's all good! Good Luck!
DeleteYou'll never know until you try...and if it doesn't work, well try again!

ReplyDeleteAwesome from last year today, the look is classic.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference a belt can make. Both styling a are fabulous. Will have to add this to my future "office wear" collection. We are literally moving to a new building as well as new professional dress code. This pattern is a keeper. Be safe. As always, thanks for inspiring us :o)
ReplyDeleteThe dress is absolutely fabulous. The belt really pulls the look together.

ReplyDeleteLove the fabric. I like the two looks. Gorgeous as always!
ReplyDeleteHi Mimi. I notice that you sew with many Vogue patterns. Do Vogue patters tend to have a better fit than other patterns? Also, I'm a curvy 10-14, are Vogue patterns to slim for me? Thanks

ReplyDeleteMimi, this is another great dress...question though, do you ever sew anything vintage? I am obsessed with 40's and 50's playsuits and am about to make a few for the summer!...very excited!
