DIY Winter White Dress + Pattern B5950

Hi Darlings!

So the day I was leaving for Atlanta I decided to make myself a new dress to wear so I did. Unfortunately the morning of the meet and greet I got makeup on it as I was dressing so i couldn't wear it but I couldn't wait to wear it so when I got home that is the first thing I did, remove the stain!

I have made this pattern B5950 before in a Metallic Fabric worn and reviewed HERE but this time I used a medium weight off white Ponte Leggero which is great but still needed a lining and since the pattern doesn't call for a lining I decided to do the line the skirt only. I just cut out the skirt pattern pieces in lining fabric one size smaller ( I used a stretch lining)

  2. Beautiful as always. Can you tell me the difference between Ponte Leggero and Ponte Roma? Do you prefer one over the other?

  4. You just don't disappoint in the DIY wear. Did you add a side seam zipper to this dress or is it a pullover?
