ReplyDeleteI just finished my first garment with your help in the free sewing class. Made a very cute, store-bought-looking a-line skirt in purple ikat fabric. This top is adorable. Would love to have the pattern for my 2nd Mimi G project. Hope I win it! Girl, thanks so much for the free class. I'm loving to sew because of your help!
ReplyDeleteI love the top and fabric. I always have a hard time choosing fabric. How do you go about picking the right fabric for each project.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute top!! I don't think I would have looked twice at this pattern. Seeing yours makes me want one! I have some silk that I bought at Mood in LA last summer. I think this would be perfect for that fabric.

Cute top I definitely will give it a try.
ReplyDeleteomg I am loving this top. Mimi you have so inspired me to try sewing again. I even went out this weekend and bought a book on sewing! I'm so excited. I have a lot of quilting cotton (I mean a lot) and would love to know if some of the tops you sew, especially this one, would be ok sewn in this type of fabric. Also it would be soooooo cool if we could see some video snippets of you making some of your items. Just saying cause I so loved your skirt tutorials. thanks and happy sewing
