Forever 21 Abstract Print Jumpsuit


Morning Darlings!

I found this adorable romper yesterday when I was out with my daughter and loved it I could had just made one but instead of having to draft a pattern or meld two commercial patterns together I just bought it, lol sometimes I am lazy y'all but first a short note to F21

Dear Forever 21

Please do us both a favor and allow me to properly style the models you use for your online presence so that women above thirty, like myself, can see that you have more to offer than the perceived "teeny bopper" look. The styled look for this jumpsuit on your site is less than desirable and I would have never purchased based on that photo, I'm just saying! xoxo -mimi g.

    I totally agree. I'm an "over 30" year old who shops at F21 all the time but most people my age think I'm crazy because they think everything is tween wear.

    I just brought this jumpsuit too!! Haven't wore it yet, love how you styled it. Yes, I agree...whoever is doing the styling on their website needs to be fired. I would love if they gave that job to you Mimi.

    I just want to say thank you. I learned to sew when I was six and have always been passionate about it, however, I allowed life to distract me from it. You are such an amazing example of someone who balances family, career, and life very well. You are also very relatable, which makes a world of difference. You show people they are just as capable to do whatever they put their mind to! Thanks again, you are changing people's lives everyday :)

    It is cray how cute you look in that getup! I love the note to F21 because I'm often thinking the same as I stand idle in the store while my 14 shops around. However, last trip there I noticed a lot of women *cough* my age riffling through the racks. Your outfits featuring F21 stuff is giving me LIFE! Loving that latest Essie collection color and had to talk myself out of buying yet another green polish when I saw it. Darn your pics for making it pop amidst all the blue! Until we read again...

    I agree, I'm a 30 something woman and I would not have purchased that romper going strictly by the pic on F21's site. it was hideous on that girl. but you're wearing that romper girl!!

    The styling on the website is horrendous! I was just telling my husband yesterday that you single handedly have increased their sales because half of the stuff you get there people wouldn't take a second look at until they see how you add the fab factor. Looks cute on you by the way.

    Agree. I never like anything on their website becuase everything is like mini mini, short short, but when I go to the store I buy everything (I only have one store around here and very far so I go like a couple times a year)

    That romper looks so sophisticated and vibrant on you! I agree with many others here, the picture on the F21 site does nothing for this getup. It seems like all the colors on the site look muted. I also love your necklace. Can you tell us about that piece as well?

    LOVE THIS! I'm headed to forever 21 this week to pick it up. And you wear is so WELL! I too am in my 30s and shop from time to time at F21, but I have do it during the day when all the kids are in school, they drive me crazy! Thanks MiMi G!

    Fabulous!! you definitely made that jumpsuit work. And its so true, you should definitely style the forever 21 models, because the way you wore that outfit, makes it look mature, feminne and totally something i wouldn't mind wearing :D

    I saw this jumpsuit on the Forever 21 website and wasn't interested in it until I looked at your blog this morning! It looks like a totally different jumpsuit on the website and does not look cute AT ALL! There are so many things on their site that may actually be cute if they were styled better!
