Hi Darlings! I hope you had a great long weekend. I had time to sew, sleep and hang with the fan so I am feeling fantastic. Okay so...I was gifted a fabulous high low top from Liv Boutique, the little shop I visited in San Fran where I picked up these pants and this dress you guys liked so much. When I got the top in the mail it was so excited I couldn't wait to wear it. The front of the top is a super soft t-shirt knit and the back is a flowy chiffon fabric.

This is a great look! The first time I heard the term "high low" was from my 13 yr old granddaughter. I was like "What is kind of dress is that!"
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely fab. I have been into this "try to sew what I see from a pic" kick lately and this would be perfect. You totally rocked it out as always.

ReplyDeleteI'm not usually a fan of the high/low look, but I think the extra long length of this shirt, the shape of the back hem, and the fact it's not too short in the front really make it look elegant. The proportions are JUST right to avoid the bad mullet look. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteOh and Burda 7220 View A is a close replica if you lengthen the back hem. Have fun diyers!
ReplyDeleteThis top is EVERYTHING! Great look....
ReplyDeleteOk,I'm in LOVE with this look! Get it MIMI.
